It is the financing option from Mercado Pago that offers the possibility to pay in installments without needing a credit card.

With this line of credit, administered by Mercado Pago, the payment is credited in full to the seller's account, while the customer can choose to pay in up to 12 fixed monthly installments, no card needed. The user just has to enter their Mercado Pago account (or create one), determine their available limit, and choose how many installments they want to pay in.

You can currently offer a Meses sin Tarjeta through our Checkout Pro or directly from your store's checkout with the Mercado Pago Meses sin Tarjeta app.

In addition, you can enhance the integration by enabling the Mercado Pago Banner app, which allows you to promote the payment option with Mercado Pago Meses sin Tarjeta during the checkout process. If you want to show Meses sin Tarjeta in your store's checkout, follow the steps below.

1. Go to your Shopify store.

2. In the store's admin panel, click on Settings in the bottom-left corner of the page.

3. Once there, select the Payments option from the menu on the left side of the page.

4. Click on Add payment method and search for the app named "Mercado Pago Meses sin Tarjeta".

5. Once you have found it, select it and click on Install. Carefully read the information about the requested permissions and click on Install again.

6. Click on Manage account to access the Mercado Pago environment and start the process of linking your store to your account to enable payments.

7. Once inside the Mercado Pago environment, click on Start linking to begin the process.

8. If you are already logged into your Mercado Pago account, skip this step. Otherwise, enter your email and password to log in to your account.

9. Choose which Mercado Pago account you want to link to the store.

10. Click on Link account and accept the requested permissions. These permissions are essential for Mercado Pago to securely and seamlessly process payments from your store.

11. The process will run automatically and might take a few seconds.

12. After linking your store to your Mercado Pago account, click on Activate app.

13. Click on Go to settings to return to the Shopify panel.

14. In the store's admin panel, go to Settings > Payments and click on Activate to enable the application.

The financing method is enabled in your store.
