In the following table, we describe the main terms used during the migration process from Gateway to Aggregator.
| Term | Description |
| Aggregator / Aggregator | Processing mode where the Mercado Pago merchant codes are used to make the payments. |
| processing_mode | Indicates the mode of processing a payment. Options are gateway or aggregator |
| merchant_account_id | Indicates the business number. It is only required when the processing_mode is gateway. |
| payment_method_option_id | Uniquely identifies the sum of a payment_method + issuer + merchant_account_id. It is only required when the processing_mode is Gateway. |
