\# Configure shipping The \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre\*\* app allows you to integrate Mercado Libre's logistics directly into your Shopify store. Your customers choose the shipping method at checkout, while you manage labels, tracking, and delivery status in one place. To enable shipping in your store, complete the steps below. :::::AccordionComponent{title="Install and configure the shipping app" pill="1"} Install the \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre\*\* app, link your Mercado Pago account, and configure the information required to start offering shipping in your store. ::::TabsComponent :::TabComponent{title="Install app"} Follow the steps below to install the app, link your Shopify store to your Mercado Pago account, and request that shipping be enabled. 1\. Go to the \[Shopify App Store\](https://apps.shopify.com) and search for the \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre\*\* app. 2\. Select it and click \*\*Install\*\*. 3\. Carefully review the requested permissions, then click \*\*Install\*\* again. You will be redirected to Mercado Pago. 4\. In the Mercado Pago admin panel for Shopify, select \*\*México\*\* as the country and click \*\*Iniciar vinculación\*\* to start the process. 5\. If you are already logged in to your Mercado Pago account, skip this step. Otherwise, enter your email address and password to log in. 6\. Click \*\*Vincular cuenta\*\* and accept the requested permissions. The process runs automatically and may take a few seconds. 7\. Finally, click \*\*Guardar\*\* to finish the installation. 8\. After installing the app, log in to your Mercado Pago account and request that \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre\*\* be enabled. 9\. Choose the \*\*origin address\*\*, which is the location where packages will be picked up. 10\. Review the Mercado Envíos terms and request activation. > WARNING > > Activation may take a few minutes to take effect. Wait before continuing with the next steps. ::: :::TabComponent{title="Configure app"} With the app installed and shipping enabled, complete the product and package information in the Mercado Pago admin. 1\. In your store's admin panel, go to \*\*Settings > Apps\*\*. 2\. Under \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre\*\*, click \*\*Open app\*\*. 3\. In the Mercado Pago admin panel for Shopify, open the \*\*Configuración\*\* tab and click \*\*Completar\*\*. 4\. In the \*\*Productos\*\* section, enter your product information in one of the following ways: - \*\*One by one:\*\* click the product's edit icon, enter the \*\*Tipo SAT\*\*, the dimensions (\*\*Ancho\*\*, \*\*Alto\*\*, and \*\*Largo\*\*), and the \*\*Peso\*\*. Click \*\*Guardar\*\*. - \*\*In bulk:\*\* click \*\*Completar con planilla\*\*, download the current spreadsheet, and fill in the \*\*Ancho\*\*, \*\*Alto\*\*, \*\*Largo\*\*, \*\*Peso\*\*, and \*\*Tipo SAT\*\* columns. Save the file in CSV format, upload it, and click \*\*Cargar\*\*. 5\. On the \*\*Configuración\*\* tab, click \*\*Completar\*\*. 6\. In the \*\*Paquetes\*\* section, select the package type and enter its dimensions and weight. 7\. Finally, give it a name and click \*\*Agregar\*\*. > NOTE > > You can register up to 20 packages. ::: :::: ::::: :::::AccordionComponent{title="Configure and verify information in Shopify" pill="2"} For the \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre\*\* app to work correctly at checkout, verify and configure the following information in your Shopify store's admin. 1\. \*\*Customer contact method\*\*: Go to \*\*Settings > Payments\*\*, open the \*\*Customer contact method\*\* section, select \*\*Email\*\*, and click \*\*Save\*\*. 2\. \*\*Customer information\*\*: Go to \*\*Settings > Payments\*\*, then open the \*\*Customer information\*\* section. Set the "Full name" field to \*\*Require first and last name\*\* and the "Address line 2" field to \*\*Required\*\*. Also set "Shipping address phone number" to \*\*Required\*\*, then click \*\*Save\*\*. 3\. \*\*Address labels\*\*: Go to \*\*Settings > Payments\*\*, open the \*\*Checkout language\*\* section, and click \*\*Edit checkout content\*\*.   
Navigate to the \*\*Checkout & system\*\* tab and find the \*\*Checkout contact\*\* section. Enter \*\*Calle, número externo, número interno o referencia (opcional)\*\* in "Address1 label" and \*\*Colonia\*\* in "Address2 label", then click \*\*Save\*\*. 4\. \*\*Pickup service\*\*: > WARNING > > This configuration is required only if you use Mercado Libre's pickup service and have packages collected directly from your branch. - \*\*Check 1 (branch postal code)\*\* In \*\*Settings > Locations\*\*, select the pickup branch. In the \*\*Address\*\* section, click \*\*Edit\*\* and verify that the branch's postal code matches the one registered during Mercado Pago onboarding. If they differ, correct the postal code and click \*\*Save\*\*. - \*\*Check 2 (linked inventory)\*\* In \*\*Settings > Locations\*\*, select the pickup branch. In the branch settings, confirm that \*\*Order preparation\*\* is enabled.   
Go to \*\*Products > Inventory\*\* and filter inventory by the pickup branch. Confirm that the products you sell through Mercado Libre have stock available at this location. If inventory is not assigned to this branch, edit the product and assign the inventory to the correct location. ::::: :::::AccordionComponent{title="Activate the app in Shopify" pill="3"} After installing the app and completing the necessary settings in Shopify, activate it in your account. Follow the steps for the rate calculation method you use. > NOTE > > If both automatic and manual rate calculation are available to you, prioritize automatic rate calculation so that shipping rates are calculated in real time by Mercado Libre. ::::TabsComponent :::TabComponent{title="Automatic rates"} With automatic rates, shipping rates are calculated in real time by Mercado Libre. Learn how to activate the app for this rate model below. 1\. Go to \*\*Settings > Shipping and delivery > Shipping profiles > General profile\*\*. 2\. In the \*\*Shipping zones\*\* section, find \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre (rates provided by the app)\*\* and click \*\*Edit shipping option\*\*. 3\. Confirm that \*\*Rate type\*\* is set to \*\*Calculated by the carrier or app\*\* and that \*\*Envíos de Mercado Libre\*\* is selected as the carrier. ::: :::TabComponent{title="Manual rates"} With manual rates, you define the service areas, shipping name, and shipping rate directly in Shopify. Learn how to activate the app for this rate model below. 1\. Go to \*\*Settings > Shipping and delivery > Delivery profiles > General profile\*\*. 2\. Find the corresponding delivery zone. If it does not exist, click \*\*Add zone\*\* and select the countries or regions. 3\. In the zone, click \*\*Add rate\*\* and select \*\*Flat rate\*\*. 4\. Set the \*\*shipping name and amount charged\*\* to the buyer. Optionally, you can add conditions based on weight or order value. 5\. Click \*\*Done\*\*, then click \*\*Save\*\*. ::: :::: :::::
